Tales & Tunes - Easter Enactments
Thursday 24th April

By special request, it being Easter week, the theme is growth, rebirth, resurrection, and the sap rising.
Apparently, there is a very popular story for now, but I'm hoping for a more eclectic mix.
Plus I'm hoping that The Newstead Mummers will present, for the first time, The True Story of The Sir Georges and the Dragon. A day late, but never mind.
And we really should raise a glass to Shakespeare.
If you were here last month, then you know that we are getting busy with a variety of traditional performance styles. So come early to get a slot.
Tale tellers, music makers, song singers, poetry performers, laid-back listeners: All are welcome.
7pm, for the first tale at 7.15. (Maybe even 6.45 for 7, if you fancy)
Free admission, but please support our local hostelry.
