Storytelling – Novice November
Thursday 28th November
We often hear audience members walking away, saying "I could do that".
So here is a night for the 'First-Timers' (not to say the old lags won't get a say). The emphasis is on encouraging each other to have a turn, in anyway you choose, in any style: Tell, read, recite, or sing, folk-tales, personal stories, shaggy-dogs, poems or ballads. Anything goes.
Or just sit back and listen.
7pm for drinks, with the first tale at 7.30.
Free admission, but please support our local hostelry.
N.B. The Pit is currently closing at 9.30pm. The last train to Nottingham is 9.27. Tales will end at 9ish, in time for last orders.
