Alex Cavan returns to The Pit at Newstead for Sunday Sessions. Bringing a mix of his original songs and some of his favourite covers!

Alex Cavan is an acoustic rock singer/songwriter, described as passionate to his craft, honing a powerful voice with a range of raspy yet smooth tones, accompanied by his acoustic guitar. Drawing influence from the likes of Eddie Vedder, John Butler, Chris Cornell and more, Alex has seen his way around the world with music for the past decade. Starting in South Africa in 2012. Alex performed on stages across the country, well known festivals such as Rocking The Daisies to intimate settings in the mountains of Hogsback, where he spent a month recording his second album, ‘Introspection' in 2017. Since moving to the UK in 2018 he has found his tracks played on BBC, Introduced and played at a variety of festivals and stages to venues all around Europe.
